Our dogs go through a lot to get a chance at having a normal, happy life. When unexpected medical emergencies occur we do everything we can to give our dogs the care they deserve.
Today we ask for your help for two of our dogs.
Lavender arrived into our program as a tiny, scared little girl with a serious eye condition.
After several visits to the vet we have learned that she also has an immune system disease which we are trying to control and treat now.
As pet owners, we all know how costly veterinary treatments can be and our rescue needs your help so Lavender can climb the slope to recovery.
Please help us give this girl all that she deserves, she has been through so much already.
Please donate towards her vetting cost by sending donations to:

Winnie is a very curious and loving youngpuppy. She recently broke into a backpack and ate medication that wasn’t hers.
At only 9 months old she is now fighting to overcome kidney failure and we are doing everything we can to keep her comfortable while she undergoes treatment.
Please Donate today to help give Winnie a chance to recover and spend a happy Christmas with her foster family.
Donating are gratefully accepted! Cheques (payable to: Chatham-Kent Animal Rescue) can be sent to:

Thank you to the volunteers and doggies who represented our rescue at the Chatham Christmas parade this year, we thank you for your dedication and help!
First Christmas Party – Dec 1/12
We held our very first Christmas party on Saturday, December 1st, 2012! Many door prizes were donated, the hall was beautifully decorated at the Countryview Golf Course, the room was filled with volunteers, adopters, fosters families and supporters.
The food was buffet style and absolutely delicious! The desserts were wonderful, everyone enjoyed their meal and were ready to enjoy the rest of the evening! Santa Claus stopped by for a quick visit to hand out a few doggie treats for the guests who had pets waiting for them at home. He made his way around to every table to say hi!
Cary Templeman provide the music and played a great selection for everyone to dance the night away! This night was another memory for us to cherish…..we were all brought together for the love of dogs. We look forward to the new year, 2013, as we continue to grow and save more lives. Thank you to everyone who came out to share this night with us, we are grateful for your friendships!
Enjoy a few pics from the evening…
