REQUIREMENT - secure, fenced yard, respectful children 12+ We can only accept applications from Chatham Kent, Windsor, London, Sarnia and points within these boundaries. All rescue dogs come with a story which helps to understand their unique personalities. Darryl and Merle were dumped in a wooded area in the country. They were finally caught, vetted and placed in a loving foster home. Darryl and Merle are truly bonded 2 year old Chihuahua brothers who love and need each other. They are quite entertaining and sometimes bicker like brothers would. They are housebroken, but in winter will use pads on bitter cold days. We accept applications from Chatham Kent, Windsor, London, Sarnia and points within these boundaries Meet George..approximately 9 months old George is a snuggly, smart, playful kitten looking for a family to call his own. Born as a barn cat, George came inside when it was discovered he had a sprained/broken tail and he decided he liked the indoors better. His tail appears to have been permanently affected by his injury. George does not have control of some of his tail (about three-quarters from the tip down) which makes it a little bit floppy and he does not seem to have any feeling in it. This is no way affects his balance or love of life and does not cause him any pain. It is something that he lives with with no problems. George has lots of energy and loves to climb, jump, and run around. He is a tall cat and has been seen jumping upwards of five feet no problem. He loves the laser pointer and enjoys playing fetch with his toys. When he is not playing, George is very affectionate and likes to lay next to you for some pets or just be around you to relax. He is very chatty and will let you know when he is in the mood to play or be cuddled. George is neutered and up to date with his shots. He is currently being fostered with cats with no problems. Because of his love of play and high energy, a home with an equally playful and easygoing cat would be perfect for George. George has lots of love to give and cannot wait to find his forever home! George is neutered and up to date with his vaccinations. She really wants to play with the resident cat....but the cat has no intention of playing with any dog! She can be a little thief who thinks it is fun to steal things, especially from an unattended laundry basket. Clothes need to be put away or you may find an item or two safely stored in her crate. She is initially scared of the leash but once in place, she is great and enjoys her walks. FOXY Lab mix 2 years old Female Medium length copper and brown fur Approximately 45 lbs. High activity level No medical issues Good in car Foxy is a very affectionate girl who is happy to snuggle and give kisses. She is very social and loves everyone. She is amazing with kids but is strong and could knock down small children to give them kisses. Being young, she is a chewer so when no one is home, she needs to be in a crate or in a safe room where she can not get into mischief. Foxy has been great with all dogs she has met. She is like a mother and will go and check on Ginger if she is resting. She really wants to play with the resident cat who wants no part of it. When the cat is up high, Foxy sometimes sits below crying and trying to get the cat to come down and play. Foxy enjoys her walks, heels nicely on leash with no pulling..... until she sees a squirrel. She also enjoys playing with her rope and chew toys. These sweet girls will thrive with a patient person/s who will initially allow them to settle and get to feel comfortable with their new family and environment. Foxy loves people right off the bat. Ginger will take longer to adjust but you can be sure Foxy will help her along the way. Ginger and Foxy are spayed, microchipped and up to date with their vaccinations and flea/tick prevention. Good with other dogs Good with cats Activity level: indoor low activity Pippa is a sweet, pretty little girl. She is calm, quiet and a bit timid. She has sad eyes that look at you for love and affection. Pippa really likes having her ears scratched and cuddling up with her human. She likes to sleep beside you or to be on your lap while you are watching TV, reading or doing any quiet activity. Pippa simply loves to be with you! At night, she will sleep on the end of the bed for awhile, then come curl up under the covers. She likes car rides and sits on a pillow or car seat so she can see out the window.
