Bella Rose is a young border collie mix girl who was found running in the middle of the street. Our efforts to find her owners have been exhausted, our beautiful Bella Rose is now available for adoption. This girl is approximately 55 lbs, 1-2 yrs old, is somewhat timid and will need some love and patience. She has come such a long way from darting cars on the street to enjoying her time with her foster family. She is a wonderfully sweet soul who is searching for her soul mates. Bella Rose is very well behaved and polite. She is currently living with another smaller dog and young child, we have no information on how Bella Rose would be with cats. She really is a kind, loving girl

Abby is a very sweet little girl, well behaved and a bit on the cautious side. Not a peep out of this girl, she will be an excellent companion for someone looking for a quiet, calm girl.If interested in adopting Abby, please complete the Online Adoption Application

Gracie is a stunning girl with and adorable face! She just arrived in our foster care and we will have updates on her personality shortly. If interested in adopting Gracie, please complete the Online Adoption Application

Dorothy is a little senior terrier mix little lady who was dumped at a high kill shelter by her former owners because they say she cannot go up and down stairs.  She was such a pathetic picture to see her laying on the cold cement floor beside the bed in this dismal place.  We could not leave her there and will be bringing her to our foster care program.  She is quite old and captured the heart of her foster family who  will be keeping her as a permanent foster so Dorothy can live the rest of her life feeling the love she deserves.

Festus is a 3 yr old male yorkie who was an owner surrender due to landlord issues.  We’ve been told he is scared at the shelter, a volunteer reports he is very sweet, a bit timid but very loving.  We’re sure he is confused as to why he had a home one minute, and in a shelter the next.  He will be coming to our foster care program soon.

Pumpkin is a little 6 lb pomeranian, approximately 8 yrs old and sadly he is blind from cataracts.  We have been told he is fearful of other dogs and would be best suited as an only dog.  This little guy just arrived in foster care and we will have more details on his bubbly personality in the coming days.

Donnie is a handsome little shih tzu male, approx 5 yrs. 15 lbs.  He gets along with other dogs although he likes to be the alpha guy and not get pushed around.  He is a very good little boy!

Buddy is a lhasa mix male who recently came into our rescue.  He is approximately 7-8 months old and is so adorable!  He reminds us of a small sheepdog.  Buddy was a little timid when he first arrived but after a few minutes of being reassured, he had a bounce in his step!
His foster mom sent this update the following day – “he is a joy and a delight!…very well mannered and affectionate, in fact won’t let me go anywhere in the house without him, but is always careful not to be within tripping distance. He naps on his new bed, but spent the night on my bed…he is eating and drinking ok, but seems to prefer to take his food piece by piece away from the dish. He is very playful and throws his toys for himself.”
His ability to communicate with you…he expresses joy, love…..every emotion you can think of using only body language….he really doesn’t need a verbal language, but he is  slowly learning ‘human’!  He has such an expressive face and eyes….when he wags his tail it seems like he is wagging his entire body.  One of his favourite things to do….Tossing his toys around and then stalking them…he is so excited when you respond with laughter, it almost seems like he is doing it to make you laugh!
He’s still a puppy and needs chew toys to keep him entertained.  He can be a little leary of other dogs when he first meets, but after a few minutes, he is ready to have some fun!  While he does enjoy car rides, he has experienced some car sickness.
From his foster mom about his typical day….”As soon as we get up. he likes ‘good morning cuddles’, then breakfast. A short rest either with you or close by, he then gets very active playing by himself….tossing his toys around and chasing them. More nap time   and repeat!….when it’s time for bed, he races you to get his favorite spot which is at the top of the bed, close to you so he can be available for cuddles or just to share your pillow!”
Buddy is just looking for a place to call his own, he is playful once he’s past the initial introductions and ready to go!  Buddy would benefit from one-on-one care and training.  He needs patience and attention because he is still very young and we know nothing about his background.  One thing we do know is that he is a very smart little guy!  He has already learned some basic commands….sit, come, and no.

Buddy is a very handsome, 4 year old male Cattle Dog/Border Collie Mix. This guy is a total sweetheart!  He is timid when he first meets you but once he knows you are his new friend, he is an wonderful companion to be with!  Buddy is very mellow and polite, he is good around other dogs, loves kids, he doesn’t chew or dig, he is great on a leash and sticks close by.
This boy is extremely sweet and though he needs a bit of time to warm up to new people he quickly becomes a love bug!  He loves his walks and he is excellent with other dogs, always gentle.

Reggie is a handsome little shih tzu male who recently entered our foster care program.    We learned that he had been left alone in an unheated garage, his previous owners had no time for him.  Reggie is approximately 18 lbs, less than 2 yrs old and has a gorgous white/tan coat of flowing fur, this little boy is going to have a gorgeous coat when it grows out.  He is excited to be getting so much attention!  He is very friendly, doesn’t care if he is around other dogs or not, loves getting attention and will stick to his foster mom like glue.  He is working very hard to eliminate any toy and food aggression which is a result of being left alone for days.  We would not recommend him to be around small active children.
Reggie is a sweet, innocent little boy who needs someone who will give him lots of love, a warm bed and good food to keep this boy happy!  We feel he would do well with a retired couple who are homebodies and when travelling will take their four legged babies with them.  He experiences separation anxiety when left alone, he thinks he is going to be left alone again. We know there is someone looking to add this wonderful little bundle of love to their lives.
