Zena has found her forever family, complete with a new little four legged friend. She was a former breeder who came to our rescue last spring with several others. Her past life left her scared, timid and unsure. She has come a long way the past few months. Zena has a loving and wonderful life ahead of her now and we wish her many years of happiness! Thanks to everyone who helped Zena get her second chance.

Edna was found abandoned in her home with her friend Edgar (recently adopted). Both were placed at a shelter. Often seniors don’t make it out of shelters, our rescue loves seniors and know they deserve a wonderful home too! Edna is very comfortable in her new home where she was being fostered. Her new mom loves her and has helped her adjust through some of the trauma she experienced. Edna has a beautiful life ahead of her and we are all thrilled for her! Thanks to everyone who helped this little senior get her Happy Ending!

Shelby Ann is our first adoption for the new year! This little girl was found in a high kill shelter with her babies. Her babies left the shelter and she found herself one day away from the last walk. Thankfully some amazing rescue friends were able to step up and help find this girl a foster until we could move her to our rescue. She is a small, one year old, lovebug who just wants to please and be loved. We can’t imagine how she ended up where she did, but it’s all up from here! Thanks to everyone who helped Shelby Ann get her second chance, this little girl deserves it!

Katie is a beautiful springer girl who found herself looking for a new family. She didn’t have to look far, her foster family put in their app right away and the rest is history! Katie fit right in and she has a new brother to hang out with who thinks she is pretty special! Thanks to everyone who helped Katie get her second chance!

Amy Marie was reunited with her sister Emma at her new home. These girls have always been together as a bonded pair. Amy Marie is a very sweet girl who loves to play and is such a big baby. These girls have a wonderful life ahead of them and we are thrilled for them! Thanks to everyone who helped Amy Marie get her Happy Ending!

Watch for it…..This little surprise has been in the works for awhile. Today Lil Bit was officially welcomed into her new home. Her foster family fell in love with her – the envelope with the surprise announcement created a lot of happiness today! Lil Bit’s former life was not a nice one, we are all so happy she has a home where she will always be treated like the little princess she is! Thanks to everyone who helped Lil Bit get her second chance!

Happy is a very happy little guy now that he has found his forever home! He is still a baby, his former life was not so kind to him. Thanks to a friend in rescue, he was saved and later placed into our foster program. Happy has come a very long way in the few weeks he has been with our rescue. We are all very proud of the accomplishments of this little guy! Thanks to everyone who helped Happy get his Second Chance!

Suzy and her friend (recently adopted) were found abandoned outdoors at the home where they lived (as outdoor dogs). Neighbours feared their safety because of coyotes in the area and asked if we could help. They coaxed them to safety and the girls were kept safe until we could place them in our foster program. Suzy has adjusted very well and we wanted her to have the live she deserved….inside a home with a warm cozy bed and lots of lovin! Today she got her wish! Thanks to everyone who helped Suzy get her Second chance

Ernie is another little guy who was homeless and ended up in a high kill shelter. These dogs have very limited time when they end up in these shelters. We are fortunate to have many amazing rescue friends who contact us and help us to get the dogs out and into foster care. Ernie (aka Ernest Hemingway) came to our foster program recently. Someone loved him in his past because he is such a great little guy! Ernie’s future got even brighter when he met his new dad who was very excited to meet him. His new uncle lives close by and Ernie thought that was a bonus to have two guys to hang out with now! Thanks to everyone who helped Ernie get his Happy Ending!

Pugsley was found as a stray and found himself in a high kill shelter. He was an extremely matted mess and in so much misery. Thanks to rescue friends who contacted us, we said yes to helping him get a second chance at love….and it happened! Pugsley walked in with confidence into his new home, ran around and made himself comfortable. No stress, just a little dog who knew he found his forever home. Thanks to everyone who helped Pugsley get his second chance, he deserves to have a new life filled with love!
