Suzy and her friend (recently adopted) were found abandoned outdoors at the home where they lived (as outdoor dogs). Neighbours feared their safety because of coyotes in the area and asked if we could help. They coaxed them to safety and the girls were kept safe until we could place them in our foster program. Suzy has adjusted very well and we wanted her to have the live she deserved….inside a home with a warm cozy bed and lots of lovin! Today she got her wish! Thanks to everyone who helped Suzy get her Second chance

Ernie is another little guy who was homeless and ended up in a high kill shelter. These dogs have very limited time when they end up in these shelters. We are fortunate to have many amazing rescue friends who contact us and help us to get the dogs out and into foster care. Ernie (aka Ernest Hemingway) came to our foster program recently. Someone loved him in his past because he is such a great little guy! Ernie’s future got even brighter when he met his new dad who was very excited to meet him. His new uncle lives close by and Ernie thought that was a bonus to have two guys to hang out with now! Thanks to everyone who helped Ernie get his Happy Ending!

Pugsley was found as a stray and found himself in a high kill shelter. He was an extremely matted mess and in so much misery. Thanks to rescue friends who contacted us, we said yes to helping him get a second chance at love….and it happened! Pugsley walked in with confidence into his new home, ran around and made himself comfortable. No stress, just a little dog who knew he found his forever home. Thanks to everyone who helped Pugsley get his second chance, he deserves to have a new life filled with love!

Edgar is a senior boy who found himself and his friend Edna abandoned when they lost their owner. They were left in their home alone. When found they were sent to the shelter where someone tagged us. The rest is history! We love our little seniors and want only the best for them – to have a warm soft bed and plenty of love for the years they have left. Edgar walked in and owned his new mom and she fell in love with this handsome little guy. Thanks to everyone who helped Edgar get his Second Chance, he deserves it!

Daisy Mae is a young girl who found herself abandoned in a field and no one came looking for her. Thanks to the help of rescue friends, we were able to get her to safety and moved into our foster program a short time ago. Daisy Mae is one sweet, loving little girl and we are all very happy she has her own Happy Ending. Thanks to everyone who helped her find her forever family!

Kane recently came to our foster program and was patiently waiting for his new family to find him. They fell in love with his handsome face and now this big boy is on to a wonderful new life filled with many adventures, including having his own cottage on an island! How many dogs can say they have their own island! We hope to receive lots of updates! Thanks to everyone who helped Kane get his Second Chance!

Little Betty came from a breeding situation, and had some fears to overcome while she was in our foster program. She had a couple visits with her new family who are patient, very loving and ready to give this little girl all the time she needs so she feels at home. It was a love connection! Betty has a new BFF that she has already been on a walk and they stuck close to each other. This little girl deserves the best life and today she got her wish! Thanks to everyone who helped Betty get her second chance!

Thanks to everyone who helped Payton get her Second Chance!

Little Mammaceta found herself in an emergency situation a few weeks ago where she needed a C-section to have her puppies. Her family could not afford the surgery and one of our volunteers came to her rescue to save her. Mammaceta came to our rescue a short time ago where she quickly settled in and started enjoying her new life. She met her new family and made herself right at home! She has a couple new friends to share her time with and we know she will be bouncing around in her back yard and enjoying this second chance. Thanks to everyone who helped Mammaceta get her very Happy Ending!
