Our volunteers are pretty savvy people, it’s not often we can get one over them but when the opportunity comes up to do so, we jump at it! Mark is very much loved by his foster mom in the short time they have been together. A few days ago his foster mom said goodbye to her 15 year old dog and it’s been a sad time for her. Mark was her companion to help her through. Someone who thinks very highly of our adopter contacted us to arrange a surprise adoption so Mark could stay right where he is! It was two days of interesting conversations with our foster mom. It’s moments like today when she was told Mark was not going anywhere but back home is a memory to cherish. Thanks to everyone who kept this secret until we could work the magic of making it official! Have a great life Mark, you are in a wonderful home!
