Tambo – Adopted
Tambo is approx 1yr old Flat-Coated Retriever/Black Labrador Retriever Mix, approx 55 lbs who recently entered our foster care program. His foster family tells us he loves to run and tease the other dogs, he’s a bit of a clown. He has beautiful coat that is so soft you just want to pet him and press your cheek next to him. One of Tambo’s favourite things is to sprint across the yard and have you follow him. He then tries to hide behind a tree where he thinks he is hidden and invisible. Tambo loves being around kids, he thinks they are all popsicles and wants to lick their hands! He’s great with other dogs, he just wants to play and have fun.
Taylor – Adopted
Taylor is a wonderful little boy, approx 1 yr old, 12 lbs, he gets along with other dogs and is extra sweet in personality!
Maggie – Adopted
Maggie the sweet Beagle came to us for a short time before she was scooped thanks to her sweet looks and wonderful personality! Happy life to this adorable girl.
Napoleon
Napoleon is a little senior pekinese, approx 9-10 yrs old. He was a stray who wandered onto the home of a family who could not keep him. We fell in love with his adorable, sad little face and placing him into foster care. He is a great little guy, weighs 15 lbs, and loves car rides!
Napoleon will remain in our foster care program where he is very happy and comfortable and will enjoy soaking in all the love his foster family will give him!
Apollo – Adopted
Apollo is a medium size, adult (1-2 yrs old) Cattle Dog/Pointer Mix male. He is a friendly guy, well behaved, and very handsome! His colouring is very unique and he is a hit with everyone. Apollo gets along well with other dogs, people, kids but is not good with small animals. His owner was not in a position to keep and care for this dog. Apollo was in a shelter where he was on the list to be euthanized for more space.
Toshi – Adopted
Toshi is a young male shepherd mix, approximately 1 yr old, 36 lbs who recently entered our foster care program. His foster family recently sent this update on this great guy!”Toshi is an energetic guy. He is very excitable and loving, which I was not expecting. He loves to run and play with toys. He has the biggest loving brown eyes that melt your heart. He is learning commands such as sit and down. He loves lying on his back and getting belly rubs, although any type of affection works! He howls when you come home as if to say welcome home come get me! I have zero medical concerns for him. He is learning to get his teeth brushed and ears cleaned. He is supplemented with liquid glucosimine for joint and overall strength. He will chase balls etc…but we’re still learning to return it. He is very good on walks and has good leash manners. Very attentive with squirrels etc… Very good on car rides too. My yard backs onto the school yard. He at first was barking at all the excitement but after a week is accustomed to the kids. Altough he has never been in close contact with anyone under the age of 12. He is amazing with my dogs.”
Linus – Adopted
Linus is a young yorkie mix, approx 10 lbs. His foster mom tells us he is a wonderful little boy, very loving and hard to resist! He gets along with other dogs, cats, loves people, playing and life!
Copper – Adopted
Copper is a puppy who was rescued from high kill shelter and is ready to meet his forever home. He was adopted to a family who no longer had time for him with new jobs and busy children so he is back on the hunt for the perfect home. He is believed to be a bassett mix, about 10 months old and very sweet puppy love!He is up to date with all his vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.
Little Bear – Adopted
Little Bear is a small Pomeranian/Shitzu x, Black and Tan, approximately 8-10 years old, 13.1 lb cutie. She is an owner surrender, the owner was unable to provide necessary medical care for her. Her foster mom will be sending in updates soon!
