Popeye Pete is a male Shitzu mix, Grey/Black, approximately 2 years old and weighs 13.9 lbs. This wonderful little boy has only eye to see the world, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying his new life. Pete has the most extraordinary colouring, similar to black/grey brindle. When you look at him, it appears that he is winking and those shiny little white teeth are so adorable! Very endearing, he is such a great little guy! He loves to play with other dogs, running, playing with toys, he is a little charmer! And so full of love and wonder. Pete is a heartbreaker and would do very well with another little playmate in the home.
When he first arrived into our foster care, he was terribly matted and in pain. He had to be sedated to be shaved down to remove the severe matting. He was feeling a little overwhelmed with so many changes in his young life, but he has come such a long way in such a short time. A little patience and love goes a long way to show him he will never be hurt again. He has stopped running into his crate with his food, he has stopped cringing when his foster mom reaches to give him a little pet on his back. He is now excited to see company, his little butt wiggles so fast with happiness! If you have a place in your heart to love this little boy, please welcome him into your home.

Hannah – Snorkie Puppy Girl – Adopted
Hannah is a sweet little 6-7 month old Snorkie girl (approx 6 lbs) who recently arrived into our foster care program! She arrived with her sister Bailey and her brother Max. These little babies were left on the side of a dirt road in a box when they were found. We can’t imagine anyone not loving these babies!
Lasso – Adopted
Lasso is a handsome medium size Golden Retriever/Black Labrador Retriever Mix male who will be coming into our foster program soon. We are told he is a real charming guy! Very friendly and loves to hang out with people!
Hector – Perfect Buddy! – Adopted
Hector is a 1 or 2 yr old male shepherd/collie mix male who was surrendered to our rescue. He is an amazing boy! Hector is laid back for being so young, walks well on a leash, loves treats and will do anything for yummy treat! He gets along with other dogs, we did not test him with cats, although we feel he would be the same cool cucumber he is with people and other dogs. We were told he was living in an apartment, then was moved to another home where he was kept outside and not allowed into the home.
He would do well with or without another dog, he enjoy hanging out and being with people. His foster family have high praises for this sweet guy, he will make a wonderful addition to any family looking for a well behaved companion.
Rex – Yorkie/Schnauzer Puppy – Adopted!

Brownie – Very Well Trained Pup – Adopted!
Brownie is an adorable 6-8 month old, mix breed male, 27 lbs who recently arrived into our foster program. Brownie has been growing into a very handsome little boy since he arrived into our foster family!
He is so well adjusted, friendly, sociable, loves other dogs, trained and ready for a family to call his own! Loves to play with other dogs, gets along with kids. Brownie is a very well adjusted little boy is waiting for his forever family to scoop him up!
He and his siblings came from a cruelty case and he was the only puppy to survive. He is just happy to be alive, and love the chance to run and play and grabbing attention at every opportunity!
Ralphy – Doxie Mix Boy – Adopted
Ralphy is a little 15 lb brindle doxie mix guy who is currently in foster care. He’s still a puppy…..happy, lovable, friendly, playful, everything a puppy should be! We are still getting to know this little boy and will share more updates soon!
Hiriam – Adopted
Hiriam is a cute little terrier male, approx 30 lbs, who recently entered our foster care program. He is such a fun little guy and still a happy, bouncing puppy! He would love to have his own big back yard to run around and play, kids would be a good addition to give this little man the life he deserves! Hiriam is a good boy with lots of energy and he is ready to love!
Robin – Wonderful Senior – Adopted
Robin is a 10 year old, 26 lb, sheltie male who was surrendered to the shelter by his owner. He recently entered our foster program. This little senior is a beautiful soul who still have many more years to enjoy life. He is quiet, polite, a little timid when he first meets new people. He is settling into his foster home and more updates will be posted soon.
Sparky – Yorkie Cutie! – Adopted
Sparky is a young yorkie mix male, approximately one year and 10 lbs. He recently entered our foster care program. He is a sweet little guy with plenty of kisses to share! He spent several weeks with his little buddy Ricoo before we moved him here. More information will be posted once he has settled in for a few days.
