Rusty – Adopted – July 6/14

It makes your heart skip a beat when you see so much love from adopters for the dog they are anxious to welcome into their heart and home. Rusty is one of those special little ones who had no background, he has felt so unsure of where he is going – thanks to some great volunteers and now his new family, he doesn’t have to worry about his future again. They met at one of our Petvalu events and his new dad and mom have big plans for this little guy. We are so happy to see Rusty is on his way to a brand new future! Thanks to everyone involved who made his dream come true!

Buddy – Adopted – July 5/14

Buddy is a peaceful guy who has come such a long way since his shelter days. He has melted the hearts of everyone who has shared a few moments of his life. His eyes speak volumes, you can see those wheels turning in his mind wondering what’s in store for him. We are very proud to announce Buddy has a home to call his own now, no more worries for this guy. His new family fell in love with him right away and made him a promise to give him a wonderful life. His new older sister plans to show him the ropes! Thanks to everyone who helped with Buddy’s journey to this new life, it is appreciated!

Bella – Adopted – July 4/14

Beautiful little Bella has captured the hearts of her new family. They met and in Bella’s style, she welcomed them into her life with that sweet smile of hers. She is one cool little cucumber, happy to be here and ready to love! She has a new four legged buddy to hang out with too! Bella is one unique little girl with a special personality to match! Thanks to everyone who helped Bella in this new chapter of her life, she deserves all the gifts that life can give her!

Shadow – Adopted – June 3/14

Shadow’s story is one that will touch your heart! His former life was supposed to be as guard dog. For anyone who has met Shadow, you would quickly see he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. At only 3 yrs old, his life was going to end with his former owners, his position as guard dog was replaced with another dog when Shadow was not “doing his job”. He was removed from the situation by a volunteer and placed with his foster family who has worked with this handsome guy every day for the past four months to show him life would never be the same. He had so many great things to look forward to. He has overcome the fear of being inside a home, walking on a leash, being with other dogs, meeting new people. He craved love for so long, his dream finally came true! Shadow will never want for anything, he will be loved more than than he ever imagined and has a family who think he is one special guy! Thanks to everyone involved with the helping Shadow as he continues to discover a brand new world!

Foxy – Adopted – June 30/14

Foxy came to our foster program recently, and we knew it would not take long for her to find her new family. They patiently waited for to overcome some complications after her spay surgery. She is doing amazing and is one beautiful little girl! Her early beginnings were not so great for her, but she is on her way to a new life filled with many wonderful things! Thanks to everyone involved to make Foxy’s dreams come true!

Rocky is a very special boy. He has overcome a lot of fears and anxiety in his young life and now has the confidence to move on in this next leg of his life’s journey. Bella – Adopted – June 15/14

Beautiful little Bella has a wonderful life to look forward to after today. She came from a situation where her former owner’s new girlfriend didn’t like small dogs. Bella found herself at the shelter being replaced by another bigger dog. At only 18 months old and cute as can be, we can’t imagine how anyone wouldn’t fall in love with her. She has a new bed, toys and is going to go on a shopping trip soon to check out some new wardrobes for a princess, and that’s just what she is! Thanks to everyone involved to help Bella on her way to this next leg in her life’s journey!
