Farley is a young dark chocolate lab mix boy (he is so dark, he looks black until the sun shines on this handsome guy), approx 50 lbs,  who was left tied to a tree in front of the shelter where we found him.  He is a very happy, friendly, social guy who is also very smart!  This guy already knows how to sit, stay, down, shake a paw.  He tends to pull on a leash at first but will settle down.  He is funny, silly, loves to play, gets along with other dogs, loves kids and is a funny face!  Farley is a great guy who will make some lucky family a wonderful companion!

This wonderful girl has found her forever home!
Tasha is a super sweet Weimaraner girl who was surrendered to our rescue. She was just spayed on Sept. 19 and is recovering very well.
Tasha is a little bit shy at first but warms up to you very nicely. She likes other dogs but will chase cats. She is 3 years old and ready for a loving home

Dingo is a very sweet, timid little 11 lb, 1 yr old terrier mix guy who recently arrived to our foster care program.  He is a very nice little guy, very happy, friendly, looking for love and some attention.    He gets along with other dogs, loves his chewy toys, and is looking for his own home!  He is a cutie pie!

Popeye Pete is a male  Shitzu mix, Grey/Black, approximately 2 years old and weighs 13.9 lbs.  This wonderful little boy has only eye to see the world, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying his new life.  Pete has the most extraordinary colouring, similar to black/grey brindle. When you look at him, it appears that he is winking and those shiny little white teeth are so adorable!  Very endearing, he is such a great little guy!  He loves to play with other dogs, running, playing with toys, he is a little charmer!  And so full of love and wonder.    Pete is a heartbreaker and would do very well with another little playmate in the home.
When he first arrived into our foster care, he was terribly matted and in pain.  He had to be sedated to be shaved down to remove the severe matting.  He was feeling a little overwhelmed with so many changes in his young life, but he has come such a long way in such a short time.  A little patience and love goes a long way to show him he will never be hurt again.  He has stopped running into his crate with his food, he has stopped cringing when his foster mom reaches to give him a little pet on his back.    He is now excited to see company, his little butt wiggles so fast with happiness!  If you have a place in your heart to love this little boy, please welcome him into your home.

Hannah is a sweet little  6-7 month old Snorkie girl (approx 6 lbs) who recently arrived into our foster care program!  She arrived with her sister Bailey and her brother Max.  These little babies were left on the side of a dirt road in a box when they were found.  We can’t imagine anyone not loving these babies!

Lasso is a handsome medium size Golden Retriever/Black Labrador Retriever Mix male who will be coming into our foster program soon.    We are told he is a real charming guy!  Very friendly and loves to hang out with people!

Ricco is a young yorkie mix male, approximately 10 lbs.  He recently entered our foster care program.  He is a very lovable little guy who wanted to give our volunteers lots of kisses when he first arrived.  We will post more information from his foster mom in a few days!

Bubba is a pug mix puppy – born in April 2012, weighs approx 10-12 lbs and is now looking for his own family!  His long distance foster family told us he loved standing on his dog house. He is currently with his foster family and more information and pics will be posted soon.

Electra came into the shelter with Elvira, the staff assumed they could be mother and daughter. This little girl is only about 25 lbs, friendly, happy and is ready for a home to call her own! She would do well in a quiet home, she loves to snuggle and enjoys all the attention to herself. She does not mind the company of other dogs and cats but can get jealous of them when they steal the love from her. She loves to play fetch, squeaky toys and bones.
She is housetrained and does not seem to chew anything but toys and bones that are given to her. She is not a barker, except when she sees squirrels and rabbits outside.
She previously was adopted into a home which had much more activity than what she was used to in her foster home and came back to our foster care. She is a wonderful girl, loves to be close and snuggle – she is ready for a place to call home with a family who can provide a more quiet setting.

Hector is a 1 or 2 yr old male shepherd/collie mix male who was surrendered to our rescue.  He is an amazing boy!  Hector is laid back for being so young, walks well on a leash, loves treats and will do anything for  yummy treat!  He gets along with other dogs, we did not test him with cats, although we feel he would be the same cool cucumber he is with people and other dogs.  We were told he was  living in an apartment, then was moved to another home where he was kept outside and not allowed into the home.
He would do well with or without another dog,  he enjoy hanging out and being with people. His foster family have high praises for this sweet guy, he will make a wonderful addition to any family looking for a well behaved companion.
